ReClamation and ReUse Solutions

Water reclamation occurs when industrial effluent is treated to adequate levels and reused as influent water. The process of recycling grey water requires adequate treatment to ensure suspended solids, dissolved solids, metal oxides, and other harmful constituents are removed.

Grey water used in reclamation can come from a variety of sources, including rinse waters for demineralizers and other systems, process water overflow, and blow down from boiler or cooling systems. When properly treated and maintained, water reclamation has numerous benefits, including a reduction in raw water and sewer costs, and a favorable environmental footprint. Aqua Regia (pvt) Ltd. also has experience designing zero liquid discharge operations so 100% of your effluent can be reused.

In zero-liquid discharge, advanced technologies are used to recycle (rather than discharge) all of the wastewater from an industrial facility. Many facilities have sought out ZLD solutions due to increased scrutiny from regulatory agencies and plant management regarding industrial wastewater discharge.

We have experience servicing a full range of zero-liquid discharge (ZLD) systems that can service a broad range of wastewater discharge sources, including blow down from boilers and cooling towers, reverse osmosis concentrate, softener waste, demineralizers waste, mine drainage, and a variety of other sources.

Both reduced effluent and zero-liquid discharge programs have benefits for the environment and the bottom line, with reductions in water consumption by as much as 90%. Additionally, the evaporation/crystallization process can help industrial operators recover valuable by-products for reuse or sale.
